Eurynome, Goddess of All Things, moulded the wind to create Ophion, a serpent. Filled with lust for Eurynome, he entwined himself around her, loving her while she danced.

Thus Euronyme gave birth to an egg– an egg that delivered the earth. Ophion boasted, claiming he created the world on his own. Eurynome was furious and banished him to the underworld.

These cards are inspired by this story & re-contextualise the story of these deities – Eurynome leading a royal life as protector of a forest, amidst Ophion, returning as a snake in hopes to bewitch his first love.
